How to get started?

Book a Free Consultation

It all starts by booking a free consultation. A consultation appointment is a free 15 minute phone call/video chat to briefly discuss your needs and goals for therapy and to vibe check to see if we would be a good therapy match. By the end of the call, we’ll give you a quick draft of how we imagine our work together will be like and we can discuss scheduling your first appointment. Please come with any questions you’d like to ask.

Intake documents & Set up

After scheduling the first appointment, you will receive your intake document packet to your email. This will look like a link to activate a Sessions Health profile.

Your Sessions Health Client Portal will have all the intake documents needed to make your first appointment run smoothly; it’s also where we will have our virtual appointments. We will go over all the features of your Sessions Health account in the first session.

The First Session

The first appointment is called the intake appointment. The intake appointment is a 50 minute session to dive deeper into your history, current struggle points, and to fully outline your treatment goals. By the end of the intake we should have a fully outlined treatment plan that we will discuss more thoroughly at the beginning of the second appointment. After approval of the treatment plan we move into working on your goals.
