Matthew’s Approach

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that healing happens through safe, authentic connection. I integrate EMDR, attachment-based, and somatic practices to help clients move beyond insight and create lasting change. I offer inclusive, sex-positive care and affirm diverse identities, relationships, and ways of being.

ABOUT Matthew

I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and genuinely human. My role isn’t to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and practical tools that support meaningful, lasting change.

I’m especially drawn to the stories people carry—the parts that feel heavy, hidden, or hard to talk about. I strive to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself, without judgment, and feel supported every step of the way.

My work focuses on trauma, attachment wounds, and the ways our past experiences shape our relationships, sexuality, and sense of self. I integrate EMDR with attachment-based, somatic, and experiential approaches to help clients move beyond insight and into deeper nervous system healing.

I work with individuals and couples navigating complex trauma, intimacy concerns, and relationship challenges. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-positive, and welcoming of diverse identities and relationship structures, including polyamory and consensual non-monogamy.

Above all, my goal is to offer a steady, compassionate partnership where healing feels possible and you don’t have to do the hard parts alone.
