ABOUT Rachel
I specialize in working with OCD and intrusive thoughts, particularly when anxiety, relationships, sexuality, or neurodivergence make it difficult to trust your own thoughts and experiences. OCD can show up through persistent doubt, rumination, reassurance seeking, checking, avoidance, or distressing thoughts that feel completely inconsistent with who you are. My goal is to help you better understand these patterns and develop a different relationship with uncertainty rather than continuing to organize your life around trying to feel completely certain or safe.
I also have a particular interest in women’s sexual health, including concerns related to desire, intimacy, sexual confidence, body image, shame, and changes in sexual functioning. Sexual concerns rarely exist in isolation, and our work can explore how anxiety, relationships, past experiences, identity, and the messages you have received about sexuality may be affecting how you experience yourself and connect with others.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and neurodivergent-affirming. I draw from evidence-based OCD treatment, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), alongside CBT, I-CBT-informed concepts, and other approaches when appropriate. I work with ADHD and autistic clients with attention to sensory needs, executive functioning, masking, and the ways neurodivergence can shape relationships and emotional experiences. Rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all model of therapy, my goal is to provide enough structure to create meaningful change while adapting the work to how you actually process and experience the world.
