April’s Approach

My approach sees you as a whole person—not a diagnosis—blending practical tools from CBT and DBT with deeper work through IFS and somatic therapy. I specialize in breakup and divorce recovery, as well as relationship repair and reconnection, using a trauma-informed lens to explore attachment patterns and support meaningful change. Grounded in my advocacy with survivors of domestic and sexual trauma, I offer a space that combines clinical skill with genuine understanding—where you are the expert, and I’m here to guide.

ABOUT April

My work is shaped by both clinical training and personal experience, allowing me to support clients with depth, empathy, and genuine understanding. Having moved through my own experience of a painful and unexpected breakup, I understand how disorienting relationship distress can impact identity, stability, and sense of direction. That experience, alongside my work as a therapist, has fueled my passion for helping individuals and couples navigate both relationship challenges and transitions with compassion and clarity.

I specialize in breakup and divorce recovery, as well as relationship repair and reconnection. I integrate approaches like CBT, DBT, IFS, and somatic practices to support both emotional processing and meaningful change. Whether you’re working through the end of a relationship or trying to strengthen and repair one, my focus is on helping you reconnect with yourself, deepen your understanding of patterns, and move forward with intention.

In our work together, you’ll find a balance of support and direction. I aim to create a space where you feel understood while also gaining insight and practical tools for healing and growth. You don’t have to navigate this alone—together, we’ll work toward clarity, resilience, and more fulfilling relationships.
