Erica’s Approach

My approach is eclectic, inclusive, and tailored to you, grounded in the belief that no single therapy fits everyone. I draw from a range of modalities to meet your unique needs, with a strong focus on trauma—including sexual abuse and assault, PTSD, and secondary trauma—as well as hoarding and substance use. My work is informed by ongoing doctoral training in traumatology, allowing me to provide flexible, trauma-focused care that supports meaningful, individualized growth.

About Erica

My ideal clients are individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or weighed down by painful experiences. Many come to therapy after trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, identity concerns, life transitions, or patterns they no longer want to carry alone. I work well with clients who want a space where they can feel seen, heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we focus on building safety, exploring the roots of current struggles, strengthening coping tools, and helping you move toward clarity, resilience, and a more grounded sense of self.

I specialize in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma in its many forms. My approach is eclectic and collaborative, I tailor therapy to your needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. Our work may include processing painful experiences, identifying patterns, building emotional regulation skills, and supporting meaningful growth.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you have spent a long time trying to manage everything on your own. You deserve a space where you can be honest, supported, and met with care. If you are ready to better understand yourself, heal from what has happened, and move forward with more hope, I would be honored to support you.
